Xiang Shi 博士, 英国兰卡斯特大学环境中心讲师，博士生导师，并兼任兰卡斯特中国研究中心副主任。曾师从美国工程院院士DennisP. Lettenmaier教授，2013年获美国西雅图华盛顿大学（Universityof Washington）博士学位。 2012年获加拿大自然科学和工程研究委员会（NSERC）博士后奖学金，加入加拿大联邦环境部国家水文研究中心。2014至2016年担任澳大利亚联邦科学与工业组织（CSIRO）水土研究所研究员。2015年获得澳大利亚水资源协会（AWA）研究创新奖 。

I am currently working as a lecturer in the Lancaster EnvironmentCentre (LEC) and Associate Director of Lancaster University China Centre (LUCC)at Lancaster University (LU). Prior to joining LU, Iworked as a research scientist in the Commonwealth Scientific and IndustrialResearch Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia. In 2013, I completed my Ph.D. inhydrology from the University of Washington. Then, I was awarded the NaturalSciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) postdoctoralfellowship and worked at Environment Canada.

主要研究领域

主要从事大尺度模拟陆面水文过程、寒区水文过程、水文预测、气候变化对水资源的影响等研究。采用陆面模型模拟、地面观测和遥感数据诊断分析、天气预报模式和气候模式数值试验等手段来研究陆面水文过程变化与全球环境变化之间的关系。My research interests have been focused on land surface hydrologic model development, the analysis and modeling of hydrological extremes, hydrological forecasting, groundwater and surface-water interactions, snow and permafrost hydrology, and coupled modeling of land-atmosphere interactions in the context of climate variability and change by using remote sensing data, reanalysis products and in situ observations, as well as model outputs.
