Kevin Jones

华南农业大学中英环境科学研究中心特聘教授，兰卡斯特大学杰出教授，世界著名环境学家。Kevin曾创办世界最大的多学科环境中心--兰卡斯特环境中心并担任兰卡斯特环境中心主任。
在过去的三十年里，Kevin 致力于持久性有机污染物的环境来源、归趋、行为及其效应的研究。他对于化学归趋模型的研究，对保护世界各地的人类和环境健康有着重要意义，影响着全球的垃圾处置及化学处理战略。

Kevin发表同行审议期刊论文逾600篇，是环境与生态学领域被引用次数最高的作者之一，其H-index 为93,截至2018年5月论文被引用38000余次。

Kevin Jones has pioneeredworld leading research into the environmental sources, fate, behaviour andeffects of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) over the last three decades.Complex chemical fate models continue to be developed and refined to protecthuman and environmental health around the world. Global waste disposalstrategies and chemical regulations have been transformed as a result of hisworld-leading research. Kevin was prominent in establishing and then serving asdirector of Lancaster Environment Centre which is the largestmulti-disciplinary centre in the world. Kevin has published over600 peer-reviewed publications as author/co-author. He is one of the world’smost cited researchers in Environment/Ecology. The H-index is 93 and totalcitations (Nov 2017) are over 31,000.
