On July 5-17, a group of four people include Ms. Rungrat Sae-Yang and Ayut Nissapa, associate professor at the Prince of Songkla University (PSU), came to our institute for academic exchanges. The teachers of our institute, Mr. Yanzhao Sun, Mr. Xing Lu, Mr. Zhujian Huang and relevant graduate students warmly recepted the teachers and students from Thailand.

During the communication, Mr. Zhujiang Huang introduced the basic situation of our university and our institute as well as the main research fields, Mr. Xing Lu led the group from Thailand visited each laboratory in the department of plant nutrition, showed them around the relevant laboratory platforms and introduced the latest research progress of the department of plant nutrition as well as the characteristics and results of the research, etc. After that, with the guidance of Mr. Yanzhao Sun, the group visited the farming training base and students’growth and develop center of our institute. Besides, he introduced the farming training theory and the activities of students innovation and entrepreneurship in our college. etc.

After the academic exchange in the campus, Xiangqing Shao and Mengnan Liu, graduate students representative, led the group to inspect the wholesale market of Jiangnan fruits and vegetables. They were both warmly recepted by the market senior management.

After the communication, the group expressed gratitude for the warm reception of the Natural Resources and Environment institute, at the same time, they also expressed heartfelt admiration towards the scientific research platform and talents in our institute. They were looking forward to our teachers and students representative to visit PSU in August. PSU in Thailand has been communicating friendly with our institute for over a decade.
